Burleigh County has a bi-weekly pay cycle; pay day is every other Friday.  Salaries currently follow a Step Plan.

Burleigh County observes 10 Holidays a year:

• New Years Day
• Martin Luther King Day
• Presidents Day
• Good Friday
• Memorial Day
• Independence Day
• Labor Day
• Veteran's Day
• Thanksgiving Day
• Christmas Day (County offices close at noon on December 24th unless it is an observed Christmas holiday or weekend.) 
• Burleigh County will observe every day appointed by the President of the United States or by the Governor of ND
