Road Mileage
The Highway Department maintains all of the County and Township roads within Burleigh County. In addition, Burleigh County funds installation and maintenance of all culverts measuring 24" in diameter and larger located in defined public roads. This does not include private approach culverts on any roads. The Highway Department also maintains 67 bridges on County and Township roads.
Township Road Mileage Separated Out By Township
Township road milage it required to be submitted by July 1st every even number year by the County Commission to the Office of State Treasurer. For the definition of a "township road" according to ND State Administrative Code 84-03-01-01 click here.
