Cost-Share Program
The Weed Board Cost Share program is financial assistance for the landowners within Burleigh County. This program is available only for landowners outside the City limits. If you are within City limits, contact your City Weed Officer. Cost share is not available for yard lawns, planted fields, or Conservation Reserve Program (CRP). The cost share deadline is November 1st. We have three options with forms available online.

• Alternative Sprayer offers landowner a 50% cost share reimbursement (up to $750 total cost) on herbicide costs. Labor costs up to $750 will be eligible for cost share.
• Contracted applicators to spray landowner property at a 50% cost share rate up to a maximum reimbursement of $1,500 per landowner. 
• Landowners who would like to spray and purchase chemicals themselves can purchase herbicide from Burleigh County at 50% of herbicide cost and may not exceed total cost of $750.
